GWA's office are located on one of the oldest streets in the United States, Marshall Street, part of the earliest settlement of Boston. Our bay window over-looks the historic Boston Stone, a well-known landmark that dates back to 1627, when the painter, Thomas Child, imported this stone to pulverize pigments for paint in his shop on this site.

In addition to providing complete architectural services, from schematic design through construction administration, the firm performs such pre-design tasks as master planning, historic structures reports, programming, site analysis, and feasibility studies. The office has extensive experience assembling and directing the teams of consultants necessary in both pre-design and design phases. Additionally, the office has won awards for product design and furnishings, and it brings this level of attention to the outfitting of its architectural projects.
